You can report a poem, comment, photo, video, status post, direct message, or an entire profile. Open the ⋯ (or dismiss) menu on the item, choose Report, and pick the reason that fits best — the options are tailored to what you're reporting.
No. Every report is anonymous — the person you report is never told who filed it. Our team reviews each one on its own.
Block is a hard cut — the other person loses access to your profile and inbox and you stop seeing each other around the site. Mute is a quiet filter — someone stops appearing in your stream for 30 days without losing any access and without being told. Report flags content or an account to our team for review. Yes, to keep the tools from being misused: up to 10 reports a day (and you can't report the same thing twice), and up to 10 blocks a day. Muting has no limit.
Some situations have their own higher-priority routes. To take down a private intimate image or video of you, use Image Removal.
