Overview
Sometimes a private, intimate photo or video ends up online without the permission of the person in it — and that includes fake or AI-generated "deepfake" images made to look real. If that has happened to you on GS Poetry, you can ask us to take it down through the process below, which follows the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act.
This route is specifically for intimate imagery of you that was shared without your consent. If your concern is someone using creative work you made, that is a copyright matter — see copyright and plagiarism instead. For anything else, use the Report button on the content or contact support.
If you believe you are in immediate danger or that a crime is being committed, please contact your local law enforcement right away. This form alerts our safety team, but it is not an emergency service.
Who can use it
You do not need a GS Poetry account, and you do not have to be a member. Anyone depicted in the content — or someone authorized to act on their behalf — can submit a request. The form works fully signed-out for exactly this reason: people affected may not have an account here.
What the form asks for
To act on a request, the law requires a few specific things, and the form walks you through each one:
- Your name and email, so we can reach you and confirm when it is done.
- Links to exactly where the content is — paste one or more addresses so we can find it.
- A good-faith statement that the intimate image was shared without the consent of the person depicted, plus a box confirming you are that person or are authorized to act for them.
- Your electronic signature — your full legal name typed in.
An optional notes field lets you add anything else that helps us understand the situation. Filling the form out completely is what makes the request valid under the law.
How quickly it is handled
As soon as you send a complete request, our safety team is alerted. We take down content a valid request identifies within 48 hours — along with any duplicate copies we can find elsewhere on the site — and we email you to confirm.
