Image Removal (TAKE IT DOWN Act)
Ask GS Poetry to remove a private intimate image or video shared without your consent — no account required, acted on within 48 hours.
It is a way to ask GS Poetry to take down a private, intimate photo or video of you that was shared without your consent — including fake or AI-generated "deepfake" images. It follows the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act, which sets out what a valid removal request must include. Open the Image Removal Request form →
No. You do not need a GS Poetry account and you do not have to be a member. The form works fully signed-out, because anyone depicted in the content — or someone authorized to act on their behalf — can file a request.
Your name and email so we can reach you, one or more links to exactly where the content is, a good-faith statement that it was shared without consent (plus confirmation that you are the person depicted or are authorized to act for them), and your electronic signature. There is also an optional notes field. Completing every required part is what makes the request valid. See the form →
As soon as you send a complete request, our safety team is alerted. We take down content that a valid request identifies within 48 hours — along with any duplicate copies we can find elsewhere on the site — and we email you to confirm it is done.
They cover different things. The TAKE IT DOWN process is for intimate images of you shared without your consent. A copyright takedown is for someone using creative work you own without permission. If your concern is copied poetry or artwork, use the copyright and plagiarism route instead.
If you believe you are in immediate danger or that a crime is being committed, contact your local law enforcement right away. The removal form alerts our safety team but is not an emergency service — please reach the authorities first, then file the request when you are safe.
No. It explains how our removal process works so you can use it, but it is not legal advice and does not replace talking to a lawyer or the authorities about your options. If you need one, contact support and we will help you find the right route.
