We respect the privacy of all members and understand it is a big concern. Unfortunately, sometimes spammers will register on the site and send legitimate members messages soliciting financial assistance or other requests that have nothing to do with poetry.
GS Poetry DOES NOT SEND E-MAILS TO REGISTERED USERS unless the member has initiated contact with the site (i.e. submitting a poem, registering on the site, contacting support, etc). Members can also decide what types of e-mails to receive by configuring their e-mail settings. GS Poetry adamantly opposes sending unsolicited e-mail.
If you start receiving spam messages soliciting money, sexual contact or anything that has anything to do with poetry, please follow these guidelines:

GS Poetry does not knowingly do business with any company or person(s) that supports or encourages the use of spamming, and does not sell, trade or transfer any e-mail address or personal information we gather from members.
