Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy and open Profile Privacy Control. Every profile is Public by default, and you can switch to Private (GS Poets Only) so only registered members can view it, Followers Only so only your followers can, or Private (Hidden) so no one can see your profile while you keep browsing yourself. Full walkthrough: Controlling who can see your poems →
Each poem has its own visibility setting in the Privacy section of the composer: Public (anyone, including signed-out visitors — the default), Followers Only (just the people who follow you), or Private (only you, plus anyone you send the private link to, and up to 100 specific poets you share it with directly). You can change it any time from the poem's editor. More on poem visibility →
Yes. Narrowing a poem's audience takes effect immediately — the moment you save, it's removed from the streams and readers who can no longer see it. Widening it again (say, back to Public) makes it visible again just as fast.
Yes. If you've added a location to your profile, open Settings → Edit Profile and turn on Hide Location. Your city and state are hidden while your country stays visible, so you can show roughly where you write from without the specifics.
The archive is your poems, exported so you always have your own copy of your work. We prepare it when you request it and email you a link when it's ready — nothing is shared with anyone else. More on exporting your data →
