Set a future date and time and have GS Poetry publish your poem for you — a GS Pro feature.
Yes, on GS Pro. Write the poem in the composer, click the blue Schedule button, pick a date and time at least 5 minutes from now and within the next year, and we'll publish it for you automatically. Full walkthrough: Scheduling a poem for later →
A scheduled poem is about timing a release for an audience. A Private poem has nobody to release it to, and a Followers-only auto-publish defeats the point of timing a launch — so the composer locks visibility to Public the moment you open the Schedule picker. If you want a non-public poem, click Cancel Scheduling to close the picker and the visibility dropdown unlocks. More on what you'll need →
The clock ticked past your chosen time while you were filling things in. Pick a new time at least 5 minutes ahead and click Schedule Poem again. More troubleshooting →
Publishing runs every minute, so a poem may land up to a minute after its scheduled time — that's expected. If several minutes have passed and the row is still in your Scheduled queue, refresh My Poems → Scheduled. If it's still stuck, contact support. More troubleshooting →
No — edits don't cancel the schedule. Only Move back to drafts (or clicking Publish, which publishes immediately) clears it. More troubleshooting →
They still publish on time. You won't be able to schedule new ones or reschedule existing ones until you resubscribe — but Publish Now and Move back to drafts stay available on the existing queue, so you're never stuck with a poem you can't release. More troubleshooting →
