No — rating poems and leaving written feedback are completely free for everyone, and so is seeing the ratings and feedback on your own poems. There's nothing to unlock and no membership required. GS Pro only adds the cross-poem rating analytics on top.
No. Ratings and feedback are fully anonymous. The poet sees your star value and any written note you left, but never your name, username, or any hint of who you are — there's no way for them to trace a rating back to a reader.
On each of their own poems. The poet gets a private Ratings & Feedback card showing that poem's average score, its total number of ratings, and the full list of star values with any written notes readers left — all anonymized. Ratings are private to the poet and never shown publicly on the poem.
Yes. Under the stars, click Leave private feedback for the poet, type your note, and send it. It goes straight to the poet, stays anonymous, and — like your star rating — is never shown publicly. Written feedback becomes permanent once you send it, so treat it as your finished thought.

You can adjust your star choice for a brief moment right after you pick it, but once it locks in, your rating is final. Written feedback is permanent the moment you send it. There's no way to delete a rating or a note afterward, so choose your stars and word your feedback with that in mind.
