Pin your best poems to your profile, schedule highlights to rotate on their own, and spend credits to boost a poem into more streams.
Highlighting pins a poem to the featured spot on your profile, so visitors see your best work first. Tick Highlight this poem on my profile in the composer, or use the highlight action in My Poems. Only Public poems can be highlighted. Full guide: Highlighting and boosting your poems →
Every poet can highlight 1 poem for free. GS Pro raises that to 4, so your profile can feature a rotating set. You can un-highlight and swap at any time, on any plan.
Yes, with GS Pro. Pick a future start (from 5 minutes to a year out), an optional end date that removes the highlight automatically, or both — so your featured work rotates on its own. More on scheduled highlights →
A boost spends 50 credits to place any Public poem of yours in the clearly labeled Boosted slots for 7 days: in the home stream, at the end of other poems, and on the Boosted tab of Discover. It doesn't need to be highlighted. A poem at least 30 days old can also take a shorter 2-day boost for 15 credits; you pick the length in the Boost pop-up. Tap How's it doing? under the poem in Boosted Right Now on your profile, or beside the Boosted line under a highlighted poem. A pop-up shows times shown, people reached, times each and clicks to read. Those numbers are free for everyone; comparing all your boosts side by side (Compare All Boosts) is a GS Pro feature. Yes. Open the poem's page, open its Boost box, tap End this boost early, then Yes, end this boost. This works for both the 7-day and the 2-day boost. Under a highlighted poem, a 7-day boost also has End Boost on its Boosted line; tap it, then Confirm end. The poem leaves the Boosted slots right away, and the credits are not refunded.
Yes. While a 2-day boost is running, open the Boost box on the poem's page and tap Boost for 7 days. It costs 50 credits and runs on top of the shorter boost.
Open the Boost box while a boost is running. Impressions is how often the poem was shown in a Boosted slot, People reached is how many different readers saw it, and Clicks to read is how many times someone opened it from there. The read rate line shows what share of impressions turned into a read. These numbers are free for everyone.
The Boost pop-up shows your Current Balance and how many more credits you need, and its main button changes to Get Credits. Tap it, or Buy Credits, to go to the credit packs. Then come back and boost.
Yes — that's a gift boost. Tap Gift a Boost on the poem's page and pick 7 days for 50 credits, or 2 days for 15 credits if the poem is at least 30 days old. They're notified that a supporter boosted their poem, and you can tick Send Anonymously to leave your name off. More on gifting a boost →
No. Trending is always earned from real reads and engagement — it can't be bought. Boosted poems appear only in slots clearly labeled Boosted, separate from the Trending list.
Yes, two ways. Send a coffee lets you give the poet 25, 50 or 100 of your credits, and GS Poetry takes nothing. Gift a Boost buys their poem a boost: 7 days for 50 credits, or 2 days for 15 credits on poems at least 30 days old. The poet gets the boost (not the credits) and a notification naming you, unless you tick Send Anonymously. If the poem already has a 7-day boost running, the button is grayed out and shows when that boost ends.
It shows up to three more poems by the same poet, so every poem leads to more of their work. Poems the poet has boosted come first, marked Boosted. Each card uses the poem's photo banner, or a card in its category's color when there isn't one.
Yes. While a 7-day boost is running on a poem at least 30 days old, its Boost card shows Add 48 more hours, which extends it for 15 credits.
