A collection is a named group of your poems — a way to gather related work (say, “Love poems” or “Winter 2026”) so readers can browse it together. A poem can belong to several collections, and adding it to one never changes the original. Full guide: Organizing your poems into Collections →
Yes — public collections are free and unlimited. Making a collection private (only you can see it) and arranging poems in a custom order are GS Pro features.
Open the profile menu (your avatar, top-right) and choose My Collections, then New Collection. You can also create one on the fly from the composer or from any of your published poems.
Four ways: tick collections in the Add to collections section while composing a poem; use Add to Collection on a published poem; open the collection and click Add Poems; or choose Add Poems from the ··· menu on the collection’s card. No. Only you, the author, can add, remove, or reorder poems in your collections. A reader viewing a public collection simply sees the poems.

Open the ··· menu on the collection and choose Delete Collection, then confirm. Deleting only removes the grouping — your poems are not deleted. They stay published and available under My Poems. Full guide →
Poems show in the order you added them. With GS Pro you can arrange them any way you like: drag a poem by its grip, or press Tab to reach the grip and use the arrow keys. A grip appears on each card once a collection holds more than one poem, and the new order saves by itself. Full guide →
In the create or edit dialog, set Who Can See It to Only me (private). Private collections are a GS Pro feature — on a free account the option is shown but grayed out. Public collections are free and unlimited.

A collection only shows to visitors once it's public and holds at least one poem. Empty collections and private collections are hidden from others — you'll still see your own (an empty one is marked "0 poems") so you can fill, edit, or delete it.
No. Removing a poem from a collection only takes it out of that list — the poem itself stays published and is always available under My Poems. (Use the trash icon on a poem's card to remove it; that's different from deleting the whole collection.)
A collection shows poems in the order you added them: the first one you added comes first, and new ones go to the end. With GS Pro you can rearrange them however you like. Full guide →
Yes. Press Tab to reach a poem’s grip, then use the arrow keys to move it one place at a time, or Home and End to send it to the start or the end. Each move is read out for screen readers. Custom ordering is a GS Pro feature.
On the collection’s card, open the ··· menu and choose Add Cover (or open Edit Collection), choose a photo under Cover Photo, and click Save Changes. Covers are a GS Pro feature. Full guide →
A JPG, PNG or WebP photo up to 10 MB. The best size is 1600 × 1000 pixels, and the smallest we accept is 800 × 500.
Every cover is checked before it appears. A photo is turned down if it isn’t a JPG, PNG or WebP, is over 10 MB, is smaller than 800 × 500 pixels, or isn’t allowed on GS Poetry. Choose another photo and save again — the rest of your changes are kept either way.
It stops working straight away, and anyone who had it can no longer open the collection. Send the new link to the people who should still have it. Poets you shared with by name keep their access.
Nothing is deleted. Private collections stay private, and you can still edit, share, or delete them — you just can’t make a public collection private again until you renew. Your covers are kept and come back the moment you renew, and your custom order stays as you left it. Full guide →
