Response Poems
Reply to a poem with a poem of your own, see who has responded to yours, and — with GS Pro — feature your favorites.
A poem written in reply to another poem — not a comment, but a piece of its own that answers, echoes, or argues with the original. Writing and receiving response poems is free for everyone. Full guide: Response poems →
Open the poem you want to reply to. Beneath it you'll see a Respond to This Poem card — click Write a Response Poem. The composer opens with a "You are writing a response to" pill so the link between the two poems is kept. Write and publish as usual.
No. A response poem can be Public or Private, but not Followers Only — because it's tied to someone else's public poem, that option is hidden in the privacy selector. See Controlling who can see your poems for the rest.
Anyone. Responses gather on your poem's page and the responders' avatars appear on the Respond to This Poem card — no GS Pro needed to read them.
Yes, with GS Pro. You can feature up to three responses to your poem; featured ones appear in a highlighted strip on your poem page — visible to everyone — each with a ★ Featured badge. Free members see the Feature button with an upgrade prompt.
GS Pro members get a Response Poems panel in Analytics Pro showing how many responses your work draws over time, how often a read turns into a response, their reach, and which poems spark the most replies. More on Analytics Pro →
