Visit their profile and tap "Follow" — their new poems then appear in your home stream. More: Build your following →
On a public profile, other poets can see your display name, username, avatar and cover photo, bio, and the poems you've published as Public — plus public activity like new poems and milestones. Anything you keep as a draft, set to Private, or limit to followers stays out of public view. If you'd rather not appear publicly at all, you can set your profile to Private in Settings → Privacy.
When your profile is set to Private, new follows arrive as follow requests that you review and either accept or decline, rather than taking effect automatically — so you decide who gets to follow you and see your followers-only work. More on follow requests →
That badge simply marks a poet as a GS Pro member — the site's optional paid membership. It's a small mark of support for the platform and unlocks extra creative and analytics tools for them; it doesn't change how you follow, message, or interact with that poet in any way.
