Comments & Safety

A comment can be held back if it matches a keyword the poet filters on their poems, or if other readers report it. Held comments wait in the poet's moderation queue until the poet approves or rejects them. A poet can also hide any comment on their own poem.

Yes. To block, open the profile card menu (the ··· button on their profile card) and choose "Block" followed by their name (they lose access to your profile and poems). To mute, click the × on one of their posts in your stream and choose "Mute for 30 days" (they're quieted in your stream but can still view your content). Open your poem and find the Comment Controls card (only you see it). It has three switches: Comments Visible (turn it off to hide all comments), Comments Unlocked (turn it off to stop new comments while keeping the existing ones), and Notifications Enabled (turn it off to stop comment notifications for that poem). Yes, with GS Pro. Open the Comments tab on your profile, find their comment, and click Mute on this poem. Their new comments on that poem wait for your review instead of appearing right away. Their older comments stay where they are.

Open the Comments tab on your profile; only you can see it. It lists the comments your poems have received, and from there you can hide a comment or bring a hidden one back.
