Sending feedback and feature requests
Found a bug, or have an idea that would make GS Poetry better? Here's how to tell us, what happens next, and how to write a report we can act on quickly.
Reviewed regularly to match the current app.
Overview
GS Poetry is built with poets, and a lot of what gets made or fixed starts as a note from someone using it. This guide covers the two kinds of feedback most worth sending — bug reports (something is broken or behaving oddly) and feature requests (an idea for something new) — where they go, and how to phrase one so we can act on it fast. Both go through the same short form, and you don’t need to be signed in to send one.
How to send feedback
Head to the Contact page, pick an Issue Type (you can select more than one), add a Subject and your Message, then click Send Message. If you’re signed in, your name and email come from your account automatically, so you only write the message. A few pointers on the issue type:
- Choose Other for a feature idea or general feedback.
- Choose Billing + Payments for anything about a charge, subscription, or your free week.
- Pick the closest match for a bug in a specific feature (for example, PoemShuttle + Importing Poems or SoulCast Issue).
Prefer email? On the same page, click the support@gspoetry.com address to open a quick send-an-email panel that reaches the same inbox.
Writing a bug report we can act on
A good report is the difference between a fix today and a back-and-forth over several days. The more of the following you can include, the faster we can reproduce the problem and put it right:
- What you expected to happen, and what actually happened instead.
- The steps to get there — what you clicked or typed, in order.
- Where it happened — the page or the address bar URL.
- Your device and browser (for example, “iPhone, Safari” or “Windows, Chrome”).
- A screenshot, if you can grab one — it often says more than a paragraph.
Suggesting a feature
Feature ideas are genuinely welcome, and the most useful ones describe the problem you’re trying to solve, not only the solution you have in mind — that gives us room to find the best fix. We read every message. Ideas that line up with where GS Poetry is heading, and ones a lot of poets ask for, get prioritized soonest. Some requests are already on the roadmap — gifting a GS Pro membership, for instance — and a quick note telling us it matters to you helps us know where to start.
We aim to respond within 48 hours. Reports involving safety are always handled first. If your message is about a child in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right away rather than waiting on a reply here.
Where to go next
Need help rather than a place to leave an idea — stuck signing in, or locked out? See Contacting support. For a specific charge, receipt, or failed payment, see Payments, invoices, and receipts. Ready to write in? Contact support.
