What's free forever, what GS Pro adds, and exactly what it costs — monthly or annual.

Overview
GS Poetry has two tiers: Free and GS Pro. Writing, publishing, and sharing your poetry are always free — there's no trial clock on the core experience and no expiration. GS Pro is an optional membership that adds creative tools, extra reach, and deeper analytics on top of everything Free already does.
There's a single paid tier — no confusing ladder of plans. You choose only how you pay for it: monthly or annual.
What GS Pro costs
- Monthly — $9/month, billed every month.
- Annual — $84/year, which works out to $7/month. That's a 22% saving versus paying monthly.
Both plans unlock the exact same GS Pro features — annual just costs less per month. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from Settings → Membership (see Managing your GS Pro subscription).
GS Poetry doesn't show ads today — not on Free, not on GS Pro, not on any page. An ad-free experience isn't something you have to pay to unlock; it's how the whole site works for everyone right now. There might be a time in the future where we may need to show ads to help support the platform.
What you get with each tier
Free covers the whole craft: unlimited poems and drafts, unlimited connections, poem importing, ratings and reader feedback, badges, comment moderation tools, and 7- and 30-day basic analytics. GS Pro layers on the extras — voice readings, advanced text tools, poem scheduling, private collections, all-time analytics, more profile highlights, a monthly credit allowance, and more.
Rather than list every line here (the feature set grows over time), the always-current side-by-side comparison lives on the pricing page. See GS Pro plans & features for the full table.
