Category Strength
The profile badge that shows the kind of poetry you write most — how it is worked out and when it shows.
It's a small badge on your profile that names the kind of poetry you write most — the category the largest share of your poems belong to — along with the percentage of your poems in it (for example, "Love · 42%"). It updates on its own; there's nothing to set up. Full guide: Understanding your category strength →
Your category strength stays hidden until you have at least 10 poems that count toward it (Public or Followers Only). Below that there isn't enough writing to point to a clear strength, so no badge shows. Once you cross 10, it appears automatically.
We look at the main (primary) category of each poem you publish and count how many fall under each one. Whichever main category covers the most of your poems becomes your strength, and the percentage shows how big that share is. Sub-categories are ignored, and if two categories tie, the one holding your most recently published poem wins.
No. Only poems other people can see — Public and Followers Only — count toward your category strength. Drafts and Private poems never do, so the badge reflects just the work your readers can actually reach.
You can't set it directly — it's worked out automatically from what you publish. To shape it, change the main category you give new poems, or adjust the visibility of existing ones. The badge refreshes whenever you publish, change a poem's visibility, or delete one.
