Head to Discover Poems, where you can browse Trending, New Poems, and On the Rise, then narrow any view by category, poetic form, or sort order. There's also a keyword search if you have something specific in mind.

Discover Poets is the fastest way — explore poets who are Rising, Most Followed, New Poets, Prolific, or from a particular country. Every card links to a poet's profile, where you can read their work and follow with a tap.

Rising Poets is a weekly ranking of the poets gaining the most momentum on GS Poetry, shown under the Rising tab on Discover Poets. It's computed automatically from recent growth in things like followers, reads, and likes — so the way onto it is simply to publish work readers respond to and stay active in the community.

Open the Poetry Categories directory to see every category with a short definition, then follow the Explore link on any one to read the poems filed under it. You can also filter by category directly from the sidebar on Discover Poems.

The Poetic Forms directory gathers forms from sonnets and haiku to free verse and spoken word, each with a plain-English explanation, and links straight to the poems written in that form. You can also filter by form from the Discover Poems sidebar.

Your home stream shows poems from the poets you already follow, while discovery is how you find everyone else — new poems, new poets, and rising voices beyond your current follows. See Understanding the stream for how the two work together.
