Yes. Writing, publishing, and sharing your poetry are free forever, with no expiration. GS Pro is an optional membership that adds extra tools and insight — it's never required to take part.
GS Poetry doesn't show ads today — on any tier, free or GS Pro, on any page. An ad-free experience isn't something you pay to unlock; it's how the site works for everyone right now. There might be a time in the future where we may need to show ads to help support the platform.
Both plans unlock the exact same GS Pro features — annual just costs less per month ($7/mo billed annually vs $9/mo). You can switch between them any time from Settings → Membership.
Not yet — gifting a GS Pro membership is on the roadmap but isn't available today. If it would matter to you, send a note through the Contact form and we'll count it toward prioritizing it.
