Welcome — GS Poetry is the social home poets have been missing: a modern social network built just for poets, where you publish your work, follow the poets you love, and grow an audience that’s actually here for poetry. This is the short tour. It walks you through what you can do, then points you to your first two steps so you can get started right away.
Write and publish your poems
Everything starts with the poem. The editor gives you rich-text formatting, line-spacing control, and auto-save as you type, so your words are never lost. When a poem is ready, you publish it — and it’s live for readers, with its own page, a hero image, and a place in the community streams. You can write something brand new, or bulk-import poems you already wrote elsewhere so years of work land here in minutes.
Your home stream
Your home stream is the heartbeat of your day here — a running stream of poems and activity from the poets you follow. It’s where you keep up with the people whose work you love and where your own newly published poems go out to your followers. The more poets you follow, the richer it gets.
Discover poems and poets
When you want something new, there are two doors. Discover poems surfaces the newest and most-loved work across the whole community, so there’s always something fresh to read. Discover poets introduces you to the members publishing regularly — real people, not bots — so you can find voices worth following.
Follows, comments, and connection
GS Poetry is social by design. Follow a poet and their work flows into your stream. Comment on a poem to tell the poet what landed for you and start a conversation. Thoughtful engagement is the whole point here — it’s how a following grows, how work finds its readers, and how the community stays warm.
Streaks and achievements
Showing up is rewarded. Reading and writing streaks climb through tiers — Bronze on up toward Diamond — and achievements recognize the milestones you hit across many categories of activity. They’re earned by taking part, never bought, so your profile tells an honest story of the poet you’re becoming.
The fastest way to feel at home is to follow a handful of poets on your first visit. Your stream comes alive immediately, and you’ll start seeing new work every time you return.
What GS Pro adds
Everything above is yours on a free account. GS Pro is the optional upgrade for poets who want more: deeper, all-time analytics on how your poetry is performing, extra creator tools, more room to highlight your best work, and a monthly credit allowance. It layers on top of the experience — it never locks away the poems, the reading, or the community.
