Comments again, mostly. Yesterday you got a proper box to write in. Today is the small print around it: knowing when something was changed, being able to reach the menu, and being told why in words when something will not go through.
What we fixed
A comment that has been changed since it was posted now says so, quietly, beside the time. It shows on the poem and in your feed, so nobody is left answering wording that has already moved on. Opening the box to look and saving without changing a word does not mark it as edited
The little menu on a comment starts with Edit and Delete now. They used to sit underneath whatever else that menu happened to be showing, so the two things you reach for on your own words moved up and down depending on whose poem it was. They hold the same place everywhere now
Those three dots were also small enough to miss with a thumb. They are a proper size to press now, and the comment makes room for them instead of squeezing them against the edge
When an edit will not go through, you are told why in a sentence. Until now a few of these came back as a word in capital letters, which told you nothing about what to do next. This covers comments on photos as well as on poems
The email we send about a comment now opens on that comment, the same way tapping the notification does. Before, it left you at the top of the poem to go and find it
Opening a settings page straight from a bookmark or a link could come back as an error page instead of your settings. Someone hit it on their phone this morning and it is fixed
Your profile carries your name now, in the tab at the top of the browser and on the card that appears when someone shares your link. It used to show only the name of the site, whichever part of your profile the link went to

Finishing yesterday, and one of ours that was broken from last night until this afternoon. The comment box got fixed on poems, and the rest of these are the places that fix had not reached yet.
What we fixed
Adding a recording, a photo or a cover image works again. For about a day none of them would attach. The file never left your device, so there was nothing on our end to see and nothing to warn you with, and everything looked normal from where we sat. A member wrote in about her recordings and that is how we found it. Anything you tried to attach in that window was not saved, so it will need doing again
Comments on a photo get the same proper box that poems got yesterday, when you open that photo from an album. Writing one, replying to one and editing one were all still a single line, so anything longer than a sentence ran off the side and you had to drag back through your own writing to fix a word. Opening a photo straight from a feed still gives you the old narrow box for now, and that is next
You can get to a comment you want to change from your home feed. Opening the comments on a post there gave you no way to edit your own, so the only route was to remember which poem it was on and go and find it. There is an Edit next to Like and Reply now, and it opens that poem at your comment so you land straight on it
When a poet closes comments on a poem, you get to finish what you were saying. You have always had a day to edit your own comments after that happens, and the notice on the page said so, but the button to do it disappeared the moment the poem closed, so the day was impossible to use. The button stays for that day now

A long day of small things, and one we got wrong yesterday and put back the same morning. Thank you to the person who wrote in about it.
What we fixed
Tapping a notification takes you to the thing that happened, and nowhere else. Yesterday we made the name of the person in a notification open their profile, and that was a mistake. Their name is the first and boldest thing in the row, so it is the natural place to press, and pressing it took you to their page instead of the comment you were trying to read. The whole row does one job again. If you want to get to the poet, tap their name on the comment itself, which is where it was asked for and where it still works
We told you yesterday that older notifications about comments would take you straight to the comment. For some of them that simply was not true, and they still left you at the top of the poem to hunt for it. We found the ones that were still wrong and they all land properly now
A notification about someone liking or commenting on your work now tells you who it was. When it genuinely cannot work out who, it now says nothing rather than filling the gap with something that was never right
Tapping the name of someone who has not picked a username yet used to take you to a page that does not exist. It no longer offers you a link that goes nowhere
A recorded reading your browser cannot play now says so, instead of doing nothing at all and taking the rest of the page down with it. This mostly affects older recordings opened in Safari. Those recordings still will not play there, and that is a separate thing we are working on, but you will at least be told rather than left pressing a button that does nothing
The daily writing prompt has been quietly turning over since June, long before any of you were here to read one. Fifty-nine of them came and went with nobody to see them. Starting tomorrow we are putting those fifty-nine back, one a day, in the order they were written, before the list carries on where it left off
The box for writing a comment is a proper box now. It used to be one line tall, so anything longer than a sentence ran off the side and fixing a word in the middle meant dragging back through your own writing to reach it. It starts four lines deep, grows as you write, and you can put a thought on its own line with shift and return. That covers leaving a comment, replying to one, and replying as the poet on your own poem
Editing your own comment is something you can find. It was tucked behind three faint dots beside your name and that was the only way in. Edit now sits next to Reply and Like on your own comments, and the box it opens holds the whole thing rather than one line of it. The dots are still there, and are easier to see, for everything else
If you edit a comment and it trips the poet's word filters, you are told it is waiting on their review. Until now you got a tick and the word updated, and then the comment quietly went missing from the poem with nothing to explain why

What we fixed
Boosting a poem was close to impossible to find. Everything told you to highlight the poem first, which was correct, but then the button to actually boost it was nowhere near your highlighted poems. It sits with them now. Go to your own profile, look at the row of highlighted poems at the top, and under each one there is a small rocket that boosts that poem for seven days. Tap it once, then once more to confirm. The poem has to be public for the rocket to appear
Someone who leaves a comment is now someone you can actually get to. Tap their name or their picture and their profile opens. That works on a poem, on a photo, on replies to either, and in the lists where you look at comments on your own work. Some of those already linked the name but not the face beside it, so half the row did nothing when you pressed it. Both halves work everywhere now
Clicking a notification about a comment used to drop you at the top of your poem, so you had to scroll down and hunt for the comment you were trying to read. It now takes you straight to that comment and lights it up for a moment so your eye lands on it. Replies too, which are the easier ones to lose. This works on notifications you were already sent, not only new ones
If your membership was given to you rather than paid for, the page promised you 100 free credits every month and you were not getting them. You are now, once a month, counted from your first one. This starts from here: it does not fill in the months that already went by
The panel for adding a cover photo to a poem has been redrawn. It now sits up off the page as its own card, with a line of color across the top, and it looks and behaves the same whether you are writing a new poem or editing one you have already published
The little box in the corner for telling us something is here to stay. It was built for the alpha and was set to disappear when the alpha ended, which would have left you with no way to reach us from inside the site at exactly the moment there are most of you

Nearly all of today came from you writing in to tell us something was wrong. If you reported one of these, this is it fixed.
What we fixed
Poems marked as mature had stopped appearing in Discover, in Trending, in the poem of the day, and anywhere else you would browse for them. That included for the poet who wrote them, so you could publish something and then not be able to find it. They show up again now when you are signed in
Links to highlighted poems on a profile were leading to a page saying the poem could not be found. That included your own. They open properly now
Every notification about a new poem said the poem was called "Untitled", whatever it was really called. They carry the real title now. This one had been wrong for every single new-poem notification we have ever sent
A poem you started as a draft and published later was slotting into New Poems at the moment you first began writing it, not the moment you published, so it landed pages down the list and looked like it never went out. It now shows up at the top when you publish it
Your home stream could come up completely empty. One broken item in it was enough to take the whole list down with it, and a stream that shows nothing looks exactly like a stream with nothing in it. One bad item can no longer hide everything else
Coming back to the sign-up screen holding your verification code sometimes showed a blank box with nowhere to type it. The form keeps its shape now while it finishes loading
The page for writing a poem, and some help articles, were failing to open for a small number of people. Both are fixed
The note box in the corner for telling us something was written as though everything you might say is a problem report, so an idea or a compliment had nowhere natural to go. It now asks a question that fits whichever you picked, the Send button stays on screen while you write, and nothing about it suggests you only get one sentence. Say as much as you want
Scheduling a poem from a phone did not work: tapping the date and time box did nothing, so there was no way to pick when your poem goes out. On a phone you now get your phone's own date and time picker, which is how it always should have worked
